I wanted to thank Joshua Harries for writing Boy Meets Girl. It has brought so much clarity and understanding in my life. I had a girlfriend, she was a Christian, that I thought was the
„one“. But not long into the relationship, she broke it off. I was devastated, thinking
„how could this happen?“. So I decided to look for another girlfriend, a Christian no
doubt, and I ran into an old friend. So we started spending a lot of time together, getting
really close really quick. Not much time went by and she broke it off. This didn’t bother
me that much because I had been praying for God to do what he wanted in this relationship.
Not too much later my Grandmother sent me Boy Meets Girl. I couldn’t put it down, and
I am not much for reading. I never thought about God as my first love and being single
and enjoying it. What is the point of having a relationship with somebody if all it does is
end in heartbreak? Staying single until God says it’s time is a great way to save yourself
from alot of hurt, bitterness, pain, and alot of other things we really don’t need in our life.
I realize that God has things for us to do and a time for them. And right now I couldn’t be
happier being single. Thank you, Lord, for loving and caring about us so much. What an
awesome God we serve! Thanks again Josh!
